American serama thread!

I thought I'd share some good news & cute pics with everyone. Pretty Girl laid 6 eggs. One hatched Aug. 20th & the other 4 hatched Aug. 21st. Sadly the 6th one died while trying to unzip the egg. It happened in the middle of the night so I had no chance to help it.

I have truly been shocked & amazed at how fast they are growing & getting their feathers. It took my LF chicks 2-3 months to get tail feathers & these cuties had them in about a week. Nature never ceases to amaze me.

Any thoughts on their coloring?

Seramas don't really have exact color names, since they are still "newly imported" to the US and other countries. Still though, some breeders are developing different strains of colors such as calico. :)
Yeah the breeder who I got em from had like a whole bunch of different colors and she said when they breed the offspring come out in all kinds of colors
