congrats !! 40 degrees is the majic # I was told.

A month old Serama rooster that I DON"T want to keep because I have too many roosters already has attached himself to me. He demands to be picked up and then jumps on my shoulder to ride around. Sometimes he jumps out of his brood box and follows me around.

What am I going to do? I don't need him for breeding and I have too many boys already.

Right this minute he's on my shoulder cooing in my ear.

ROFL! I'm having this exact issue with an exchequer leghorn. Wanted a couple hens for white eggs but ended up with 1 of each. The male is such a doll and always begging to be held. I keep telling myself "no more roosters" but what can I do in this situation? :/

I'm afraid I'm going to be stuck with this boy.

He's walking around on my desk now.

I need to get a pic. He's jet black, except I see some traces of shiny brass showing up on his neck, so I'm betting he's a birchen.

He just flew back onto my shoulder.

Awww. I bet he's adorable
