It has been a long time since I have posted any pics of my birds...I had a fair hatch from my hens this Spring and ended up with three really good hens and one roo that was triple laced like Cogburn...unfortunately I could not catch him one morning before work and when I returned at lunch...something had killed him. I will have to keep trying to produce another Cogburn...but so far it has been very difficult. Here are some current pics.
So beautiful !!

I am dying to know if these two chicks are seramas and if yes what color would they be labeled

I got them when I ordered some standard size breeds the eggs were smaller then my Mille Fluer D'uucle but the same color and shape . I never thought they would even hatch. However, am dog lad they did! I'm in love! Sweetie pies!! Any info would've wonderful !!

They could be Serama, hard to say for sure.
Serama change color as they mature.
Only the wings will stay that color.
The rest of the bird may, or may not, match the wings.

Thank you so much for your response! This is a list of what breeds they send. From what I can find. This seems to be as close as I can get.

it's driving me crazy!

So I'm back finally. Have four birds (two pairs) and the roos will be the death of me. Prince has one hen and jumps her 73826159 times a day. I need to get him some more hens x.x anyone have extra lol. I have five eggs set under a broody but I'm having issues getting them to develop

I think they look like Seramas, and they don't look like those other breeds....Here are some of my Serama chicks. They look like yours. As far as color...They change so much and the colors are not regular colors. They tend to get all kinds of extra colors as they get older, and then they may decide to be covered with white spots! You just never know! Makes them fun though!

Thank you!!! Now let's hope they are hens?! I know nothing about this breed but that they are cute and sweet! Any special care needed? I have a Mille Fluer D'uucle and a Cochin they can coop up with after they grow big enough not to sneak out.

I do take a little extra care of my Serama babies. I grind the chick food so the crumbs are smaller. I also give them a bit of crumbled boiled egg yolk and sav-a-chick supplement once or twice in their water.

A convenient alternative to grinding food finer is sifting the crumbles with a mesh pasta strainer, you can get lots of fine particles that way. Also you should use the "quail bottom" waterer for them, as for the first few weeks they have the potential to drown in a standard chick fountain. I see you've got pebbles in there, so just keep a close eye! Other than that, pretty much normal care. I tend to keep my smallest chicks under a lamp until week 10 instead of week 8, but that's me being paranoid, I think.

Seramas in my experience start showing their roosters pretty early in the game, but I have also had two "this is def a rooster" turn out to be hens. They will tempt you to jump the gun on sexing. Don't give in!
