American serama thread!

The first cock I posted weighed just under 11oz the last time I checked about a month ago. He is very tiny

I had someone interested show up Saturday. Bills and unexpected bills and rotten bills. $125 and ten chicks are gone. Dang car is fixed, but I sure wish I hadn't sold some of them chicks.
Nice! Thats great. Sorry you had to sell as chicks, but thats what happens sometimes

so i posted a bit ago asking for eggs and here i am asking for eggs again. its now official the birds cannot breed, neither hen will lay and the roosters are driving me crazy because the hens wanting nothing to do with breeding roosters, i have an incubator now and i have the temp and humidity correct now and have successfully hatched out of it so now i just need the eggs, idc color idc if they are ayam, smooth frizzle whatever i just need some so i can hopefully get some hatchable chicks and i can have a bird i can take to fair this year that the judge wont nit pick at
I Think that you are going to have a hard time finding someone to give you eggs, You can find people who will sell you eggs, but I think in your situation, I would get proven Adult birds. that way you will get fertile birds

I cant even find anyone that will ship adults for any less than $100 all i need is two fertile freaking birds that will produce viable offspring is that so hard to ask for?

do you ever come to the sacramento/Reno Area? If you do I could Sell you a few adults for about 100$ for a decent pair... I don't have a pair yet... I can get you some hopefully in the next few months. you are going to have a tough time finding a pair shipped for less than 100$... If you don't I know of a breeder in Gridly, CA Who sells birds for about 50$ a piece

theres one in grass valley i just cant get to him. he has gorgeous birds. im in the chester area 2 hours from the nv ca border, but never go down the way of sac
ok... I have heard of the breeder in Grass Valley, Just Haven't ever seen him at a show or heard his name

My hens have begun really pumping out the eggs.
They used to lay every other day but I've collected 2 dozen in the last 5 days.

I don't want the eggs to get old and I don't want my hens to start setting yet.
If anyone wants the 2 dozen, I'll send them all for $30, shipping included
or $20 for 1 dozen.
Hey hun!
I'm reading on your site that they are $7 each an egg with the special handling. Do you know what's the furthest you've shipped with them hatching? Your birds are beautiful! I'm in California & I'd love a couple of eggs after my quail have hatched in a week.

I've shipped from Florida to Cali. There have been hatches but the rate isn't very good.
I guess that's part of what makes Tribbles rare & precious?

Hey there! What part of NorCal are you in? I am in Redding, and if that is not too far for you, I can do some checking around here. I might know a lady who raises them for show. She has been very generous with other eggs in the past. If you are close enough, I will look into it for you. :)

Patience
