How good is this guy? He is almost nine months. I was wondering how he compared to the standard type wise. I have the 2014 ABA SOP but am still learning some different parts.

A hen pulled one of his sickle feathers out BTW.
I can't comment about how he conforms but I like his beautiful blk/ white coloring. It's striking. A very pretty bird.

Same dad as Teddy, but I think different momma.
I still have 3 smooth pullets in that pen (one just decided to go broody :rolleyes:) so the majority of offspring will be silkied until I move/sell those girls.
 
Awwwwww!

Yes, she's definitely a cutie. But I must always remind myself that I can't keep them all. Now that the chicken number is down for winter, it's so easy to manage.
That's what I told myself at the time. Then the storm with high wind hit, then the rain and flooding, then fire ants, then a dog, then a cat, and on and on. Now I lookat pictures of the birds I sold and...
