I recently adopted three chickens, and one was said to be an Americauna. In my opinion, this chicken (named Bunny ) looks like an Easter Egger. She is also said to lay blue eggs, she hasn’t laid any yet. Thoughts?

Thank you! That’s what I was thinking. She is an Easter Egger....
She doesn't have a beard and has willow green legs...
Lovely girl!
She supposedly lays blue eggs. I imagine yours is an easter egger too. However, easter eggers have a variation of egg colors. They can lay blue, green, brown, etc.I have one that looks the same. What color eggs does that pattern lay?
Egg color and feather pattern are not linked at all. You'll have to wait and see what color eggs yours lays.I have a pullet that looks the same. It seems to be a common EE feather pattern. What color eggs does that pattern lay?
Technically true but if your EE was bred at a hatchery, almost all of those lay some shade of blue or green. They've been selecting for this trait a long time and it only takes a single copy of the gene for it to express. She supposedly lays blue eggs. I imagine yours is an easter egger too. you're welcome!Thank you! That’s what I was thinking.
True, but since this chicken was a rescue, I have no clue what her lineage is or where she came from.Technically true but if your EE was bred at a hatchery, almost all of those lay some shade of blue or green.
