What's your rationale for saying that? What color(s) are they? They are definitely Ameracaunas. I my self live in South Georgia.
I think you mean Easter Eggers, often people call EE's Ameracauna. They are definitely Ameracaunas. I my self live in South Georgia.
Its possible a few could be mixed color ameraucanas, but they would still be called eaaster egger. If you look, some of them have small crests, so they are definatly not ameraucanas, might have some polish or something in themThey are definitely Ameracaunas. I my self live in South Georgia.
I can almost guarantee your feed store guy will tell you they're ameraucana, but he's wrong, It's a common thing with feed store folks, they go by what the hatchery says and a hatchery would sell your birds as ameraucanas. But they're not. It gets quite confusing, just go with easter egger and enjoy the range of colored eggs you'll get!Its quite alright, I'll just take one to my local feed store he sells a lot of chickens during the spring he may know what breed it is but I think I'll go with Easter Egger! I appreciate all the comments about my birds and the knowledge I've gained about how to tell them apart and all thank you!![]()
