Amphibian hygrometer?

I'm wanting to add a second hygrometer to my incubator to have a back up to check against. I've seen several kinds of amphibian/reptile ones for sale on eBay. Considering that these animals live in a moist environment, I think they'd work okay in an incubator. Has anyone ever used one of these for that purpose?

yes, they work great. ours are exo-terra ones. haven't had any probs they are right on.

I've seen both on eBay. I think I'll try Petsmart next time I'm down that way to save on the postage. Some of those people charge way too much for an itty bitty item.

The digitals are starting between .99 - 2.50 in auctions, but $19.99 BIN. The gauges are 3.69 - 5.99 BIN.

we paid 8 a piece for the guages at the petstore. the digitals were 20 for the thermometers and the hygroms they where out of.

I got a flukers off ebay for about $8 total ( including shipping ) and it's been very accurate.
