An Alternative Christmas Tree....

Don't have a photo, but years ago when I worked at my son's school as an aide in one of the classrooms, I created a "Christmas Tree" from one of the trapezoidal tables they used as desks and a skein of green yarn. I tied the yarn to one of the legs one the long end, then zig zagged the yarn from the leg up to a hook on hte ceiling, and back down to an inch or 2 over, taped to the bottom of the desk and back up. Did that all the way around the three shorter sides of the table (long side was against the wall. Then the kids pinned pictures and bows and things to the yarn to decorate the tree, Looked really nice, and cost one skein of green yarn plus some masking tape.

It's a multi-tasker "tree."

That's funny. I like it. Forget the cats climbing on it...I'd be worried about my 4 year old dd who thinks she's a monkey.

Thats funny, I just had a conversation with a 4 year old about how the ladder turned into a christmas tree and you cant climb it.
