An insect under my hen's ear (help please)

Please I need your help

Today I found a green thing under my hen's ear. I tried to take it off but it was so hard to get it out. After many attempts, I finally get it out and it was an insect. I pressed the insect and a liquid thing get out of it. I don't know if it is my hen's blood.

Is there anything I should do for my hen right now?

(Do you know the name of the insect? And from where does it come from?)

That looks like a fowl tick to me.
The first thing you should do is check all your flock for any more!
Permethrin is supposed to be effective on ticks.

Seed tick - further treatment is not needed, but check and dust your birds.

I checked on them there is nothing.
I only checked their heads. Should I check on their bodies too?

I'd check under their legs and wings and gently ruffle feathers checking over the body.
