Ancona Ducks

From their website, I'd say they are more likely to be Silver than Lavender, but the pictures are a bit dark.

You could also try to post in the California thread. The west coast seems to have a lot more access to Anconas. I think the proximity to Holderead. You could check this place out.
San Clemente is pretty far South, but Davis was, too. I am just not sure the distance for you:

We got our first Anconas around Thanksgiving, LOVE them! We have one black/white and the other two are brown, but the pattern on the brown part is like a mallard duck. We want to get more. I really, really want some chocolates! Anyone know who would have ducklings they are willing to ship? I see several places with eggs, but I'm so leery of shipped eggs (really bad experience with expensive eggs!). Though, I am about to give in to that and just order hatching eggs! Going to browse through this thread and look at all the awesome pictures of these neat ducks

What a small world! I personally like the penciled pattern, it's neat

Do let me know, I'd even take any blacks if you get some hatched. I like to get them from people who I know

, and now that I know how to get down there, no wrong turns this time!

We haven't lost anything to a raccoon, but man do I hate foxes! We had one come back with her kits after several solo attacks that we couldn't get her and she took ALL of our chickens, all of them. We haven't had issue out here with anything, but our dogs our outside, so I think that helps some. Plus they go in a house at night which is a shed (one of those portable building sheds, so it has a floor), so what ever wanted them at night would have to be able to turn a handle.
