Yes, they are the standard ancona with buff coloring for spots. You can get suprises in your breedings and have some colors show up that you didn't know were hiding in there but for the most part if you have say, blue brown and black ducks then those are generally the colors in your flock. Keep in mind also that buff has to do with the chocolate gene amd lilac with the blue gene so they can pop out of those parentages. I would say though that I am not the best when it comes to genetics. This is just what I understand through experience.

Oh cool, Are all your pets named after Star Wars?

Not all of them but quite a few are. I plan to name quite a few of the chickens Star Wars names as well.

this is my two ancona ducks! Daphne in the back Velma up close. These ducks are very social and get along with my chickens. they are very laid back too!

Daphne has some brown around her feet and under her wings. But Velma is just black and white.

I got mine from Esteshatchery.com they are the only place I have found that sells sexed Ancona ducklings. However they only have the black and white and no colors. However Estes is done with selling for the year and I'm not sure when they start again. They are good quality birds and I love mine to pieces. They are beautiful.

Worth It Farms sells Ancona ducklings as well. Many different colors, but I don't think they are sexed
