After trying various tapes, wraps, and bandages to no success (but a lot of angry goose poop!), I finally decided to try to encase my goose in a pantyhose leg. The good news is, he hasn't figured out how to get out of if yet. The bad news is, I'm not 100% sure the wing is positioned "perfectly" in there. This is my first go-around with this condition; is it more important that the wing is *mostly* in place as the muscles/joint just need a little help? Or would it be better to start all over and get it perfect? Thanks for listening!

That is absolutely ingenious! I normally duct tape the wing to the body. Other than reducing the protein and confining the wing, I don't know what else helps. Been taping as needed for almost 20 years, but I'll try the hose since it would be easier to remove.
