Thanks guys. He is a cutie. He was really mean at first when I first got him and I was planning on getting rid of him but it’s been over a few months now and he’s really grown on me. He still puts his head down and chases after me but it’s cute now...nothing like before. So he’s officially my pet! Lol. It looks like it will heal fine. Good to know if I ever see this again. These animals teach me so much!

So I just went out to check on them and the bean fell off! I read somewhere (I can’t find it again) that the bean is like a fingernail and can shed. So maybe that’s what happened. It looks reddish brown now but hopefully will look normal over time. I’ll keep an eye on him and get another pic now.

Im not sure I did this correctly, was just trying to get something on to stay. Hopefully it will stay on long enough to do some good. I did the wing alone first. Then added another piece around the body under the other wing. My first try at it, so please let me know if I did anything that looks wrong or hurtful.
