You want to try River?

Sure! If you can give me a picture of him/her I'll take a crack at it!

How about Shadow? A jet black, short-haired cat, with half a tail missing and a long scar going from his right ear to his left eye. Also, he is blind in his left eye, which is a pale yellow and the other eye is a bright yellow.

I'll try! Give me a moment to do that.

Yeah! How do I do that?

You let me do this wonderful thing called copy and paste it :D

Prologue

"Finally it's finished!" Susan thought to herself as she stood back to look at her creation. "All I need to do now is show it to the world!"
Susan then walked over to a table and picked up her phone and dialed a number. It hummed for a while before someone on the other end answered the call.
"Hello?" The person answered.
"Hey Vera, it's Susan." Susan answered.
"Oh hey Susan can I do anything for you?" Vera answered.
"Yeah actually, can you get the others to meet me at three rock park this afternoon?" Susan asked.
"Yeah I can do that! What time?" Vera asked.
Susan looked at a nearby clock.
"Would two o' clock work?" She asked.
"Yeah I'll get the others to meet you there. Anything else?" Vera asked.
"Nope I think that's it. Thanks again friend." Susan stated.
"Okay, don't hesitate to call if you need anything else. Bye!" Vera answered.
"Bye." Susan replied.
She then hug up.

Later that day everyone was assembled. The small party consisted of Vera Redcross and her crazy sister Dorothy Redcross, Emily Printemps, Juliet Orchid, Alice Daylilly, and Susan Ete with Sterling no more than a few feet away. Susan then walked up towards a covered object.
"Today I would like to share something with you guys" Susan stated. "I believe that I have finally found a way to teleport short as well as long distances! What excites me more is that this would be the first of it's kind! A scientific breakthrough!"
She then pulled the black cloth off of the object revealing a long metal cylinder with lots and lots of buttons on it.
"This friends, is a teleporter. Capable of up to distances of millions of kilometers!" Susan stated. "I have not yet experimented with it's long distance setting but I would like to show you guys what it can do in terms of it's short distance setting. I currently have it set for Summer's park, just on the edge of Vita-vile. Let me show you what this thing can do!"
Susan then hit a button and a large white flash occurred. When everything normalized they weren't in Summer's park, and Vera Redcross and Sterling had disappeared.

Chapter 1

Vera slowly opened her eyes expecting to see the glorious flowers of Summer's Park. But what greeted her instead was a mouthful of salty seawater. She spat out the salty water and began to tremble as she realized that she was tangled up in seaweed, one of the rare things that she was deadly afraid of. Vera screamed and consequently scared all the birds out of the trees. Vera then ran out of the seaweed and bumped into a large silver creature. The creature turned it's head to look down at Vera. Vera immediately recognized the Creature as her beloved Sterling.
"What on Imagination isle just happened?!" Sterling asked.
"I honestly have no idea." Vera answered.
Just then Sterling caught sight of the flying birds. She licked her lips and took off. Vera watched her fly off. Suddenly something occurred to her, the so called birds were actually flying reptiles!
"That's really strange!" Vera thought to herself. "I thought all the flying reptiles were extinct on Imagination isle!"
Just then a dark shape formed under the waves of the water. Bubbles started rising to the surface and bursting. Vera noticed this straight away.
"STERLING! GET OUT OF THERE!" she called.
Sterling flew away from the flying reptiles just as a huge half dragon half sea monster creature jumped out of the water and devoured all the flying reptiles while nearly biting Sterling's tail off! She then cried out in Dragonish
"Please don't hurt me!"
The creature then looked at her in a confused manner.
"You do know I speak English." The creature answered.
"Oh." Sterling answered. "I'm terribly sorry sir."
"You don't need to call me sir." The creature answered.
"Then what should I call you?" Sterling asked.
"Call me Jones." The creature answered. "What's your name?"
"I'm Sterling. Sterling the dragon." Sterling answered.
"Wait you're a dragon?" Jones asked.
"Yes I am what's so interesting about that?" Sterling asked.
"Well it's just that I haven't seen a dragon since the war between the Dragons and the Dinosaurs!" Jones answered.
Vera then mistook this for a threat and flew herself to between Jones and Sterling. She immediately shielded herself and Sterling.
"I'm not going to let you hurt Sterling." Vera stated with her sword in her hand and a very cross look on her face.
"I wasn't going to hurt her!" Jones remarked. "I was merely saying that it had been one hundred and seventy years since I have seen a dragon! Why it's because they went extinct in that war! and I'm the only one left! Or at least I thought I was. It's nice to know that I'm not alone in this world."
"Is there anyone else on this planet? Or are you the only one?" Vera asked.
"There are others in fact I have friends here. I could take you to them." Jones asked.
"Please do!" Vera answered.
"Come, follow me!" Jones answered as he dove back into the water and started swimming away.
Vera and Sterling both looked at each other. Both wondering if Jones was a friend. Or merely acting kind so he could lead them to their deaths.

Chapter 2

Jones was swimming up and down in a wave like pattern as he swam straight ahead. Sterling was getting fidgety so she flew closer to Jones to ask him a few questions. As Jones raised his head out of the water Sterling spoke up.
"So Jones, where exactly are we?" Sterling asked.
"What do you mean by that? Are asking what planet you're on? What part of the planet you're on? Or just where you are?" Jones asked.
"Just tell us where we are." Sterling answered.
"Well you're in the Mesozoic Caribbean." Jones answered.
Sterling looked a little shocked as the reality hit her. But Vera looked even worse. "Mesozoic what?" Sterling asked.
"You heard me!" Jones remarked.
"So who are these friends you're taking us to?" Vera asked.
"Oh just a few old time friends who I think would be more than happy to meet you." Jones answered. "They don't live too far away from where we are now."
Vera started to hesitate. She clearly wasn't fond of the idea that Jones didn't tell them who exactly they were. Sterling seamed troubled also but in the end, after lots of questioning, she just played along. By now it was getting late. Jones raised his head out of the water and stuck his neck out towards the sunset. His large dragon wings propelling him along.
"We're almost there!" He called. "Just a few more minutes!"
"Okay!" Sterling answered. "But I still feel like we're in the middle of nowhere."
"Really? Well then get used to it." Jones answered.
Then a small speck of land appeared just in front of them.
"See that bit of land up ahead?" Jones asked.
"Yeah, it's pretty obvious." Sterling answered.
"That be Port Roarington. Nice little town." Jones stated.
The land slowly came closer and closer as the group moved forward. It wasn't long before the shore was right before them. As the party walked up onto the shore something seemed amiss. But before any questions could be asked Jones spoke up.
"Hey if you don't mind I'm going to go and catch something to eat. I'll see you back here later." Jones stated.
And with that Jones dove back into the sea and disappeared.
"Well that was strange." Sterling remarked. "Hey I wonder if there are any seagulls here. They're good eattin'."
Sterling almost left to go and hunt but Vera grabbed her by the leg before she could go anywhere.
"Sterling, you are not going hunting anywhere. Get it drilled into your head! We're not on Imagination isle anymore! I don't know what or who's here! I can't keep you or even myself safe! So until we find out who or what lives here we're not going anywhere alone! Do you understand?" Vera remarked.
"I still don't understand!" Sterling snapped "I thought all that Meozo-, Meozoi-"
"Mesozoic?" Vera asked.
"Yeah what you said." Sterling answered. "I thought it was a bunch of baloney."
"Sterling, it's not baloney. When you're in a new place nothing is baloney. Understand?" Vera asked.
"Yeah, but I'm really hungry." Sterling whined.
They then suddenly heard footsteps. They both turned to see who or what was approaching. There before them was a dinosaur. He had a green and red crest on his head, his body was blue and his underbelly was yellow. He wore a jacket and he had a lovely feather hat on his head. The dinosaur walked closer. He then came straight up to Sterling and introduced himself.
"Hello travelers! Welcome to Port Roarington! My name is Scartooth!" The Dinosaur remarked.
"Hello Scartooth! My name is Sterling!" Sterling remarked.
"Nice to meet you Sterling!" Scartooth remarked. "Are you a dragon because I thought dragons were extinct?"
"Uh I am in fact a dragon." Sterling answered. "What's with all this nonsense about dragons being extinct. I mean back where I'm from dragons are everywhere! That is unless the word extinct has acquired a new definition here."
"I don't think it has. Last I checked it meant non-existent." Scartooth answered. "Anyhow, what's the other creature that you have with you. I've never seen one before."
"Oh this is my good friend Vera Redcross. She's a human." Sterling answered.
"A human you say? Well I've never heard of these humans before. They must also be extinct here." Scartooth stated.
"You do realize I'm hearing every word you two are saying?" Vera asked.
"Wow, it's intelligent!" Scartooth remarked.
At this Vera did an impressive face palm.
"Of course I'm intelligent. I mean how would I be alive if I wasn't?" Vera asked.
"See? intelligent." Scartooth remarked.
"It's going to be a long night." Vera sighed.
"Speaking of night." Sterling remarked. "Do you know if there's any good hunting grounds around here? I'm quite hungry."
"Uh we don't exactly hunt here. We get our food from traders." Scartooth answered.
"Oh I see." Sterling remarked. "So where can we find one of these traders?"
"Well there's a nice place to get a bite to eat not too far away. Follow me and I'll take you there!" Scartooth offered.
"Alright!" Sterling answered as she started to follow Scartooth.
Vera was forced to follow behind them while Scartooth kept commenting about how "intelligent" humans were. Vera just ignored it and pretended that it was never even being said. At last they arrived at a huge building. It was twice the size of a normal house.
"Wow that's a cool house!" Sterling remarked. "Why it is so tall?"
"It's tall because those who live it it are tall." Scartooth answered.
"That's odd." Sterling remarked. "I didn't know that there were dinosaurs that are much taller than you."
"Yes there are quite a lot. I'm one of the shorter ones." Scartooth answered.
"Oh, I see" Sterling remarked.
As they approached the building Sterling felt Vera grab her.
"You know there's something wrong with a house when everything right down to the flower gardens are twice your height." she stated.
With that they walked into the building. Unsure of almost everything that lay in wait for them.

Chapter 3

Scartooth opened the door and Sterling then slowly walked in with Vera slowly walking in behind them. As Sterling walked in a dinosaur with tiny arms walked towards her. He drew close and began to speak.
"Hey Cutie, what's up with you?" The dinosaur asked.
Vera then held her hand up to the dragons chest. He was suddenly blasted to the other side of the room. Landing with a big crash. Suddenly they heard a large growl from the other side of the door. It suddenly flew open and large dinosaur walked into the room. His face was hidden by a large hood like garment. He walked up to a table and abruptly sat down. Scartooth slowly walked over. Another dinosaur came from the door behind the counter. He was polishing a glass. He glanced over at the new dinosaur. He then came out from behind the counter and spotted Sterling and Vera. He quickly walked over to them while completely ignoring the new dinosaur.
"Hello and welcome to my inn!" the dinosaur from behind the counter remarked. "My name is Mr.Glubbner! But you can just call me Mr.Glub. How can I help you today?"
"Nice to meet you Mr.Glubbner!" Sterling answered. "I'm Sterling! I'm kinda from a different planet so I have no idea how things work here. Scartooth brought us here but he left to go and comfort that other dinosaur. We're kinda with him."
"Oh okay." Mr.Glubbner answered. "Well if I can help you get settled in let me know."
"Thanks Mr.Glubbner!" Sterling remarked.
Sterling then walked over to where Scartooth was. Vera followed with curiosity all over her face.
"What happened this time?" Scartooth asked the dinosaur.
"The town meeting was just awful! Everyone's arguing and we can't agree on even the simplest things! That town council is a mess!" The dinosaur answered in a frustrated tone.
"Cheer up, Fearmaker. I'm sure things will get better." Scartooth answered.
Vera was a little startled by this. Anyone with a name like Fearmaker could send a jolt of worry though someone.
"Thanks, Scartooth, you're such a good friend!" Fearmaker answered.
"Anytime friend, anytime." Scartooth answered.
"So who's these creatures you've got with you? I don't recognize them. Most pacifically the little one she's really strange." Fearmaker asked.
"Oh! May I introduce you to Sterling and Vera Redcross. Apparently they're from another planet and came here by accident." Scartooth answered.
"I see" Fearmaker answered. "Well pleasure meetin' you Sterling and Vera. I'm Lord Fearmaker. But you can just call me Fearmaker."
Sterling walked up and shook claws with Fearmaker.
"It's pleasure meeting you Fearmaker!" she remarked.
Vera then walked up and shook hands with Fearmaker also.
"Nice to meet you Fearmaker!" she stated.
"So you're not from around here clearly since I've never seen any of your kind, Vera. And Sterling, Dragons haven't been here for thousands of years! So you too clearly aren't from around here. You are honest." Fearmaker stated.
"Excuse me, Fearmaker, but do you have any idea how we can get back to our own world?" Vera asked.
"Well that depends on how you got here." Fearmaker answered.
"Well, my friends and I were trying out this new teleportation device that my friend, Susan, made. We were supposed to go to a place called Summers Park but me and Sterling ended up here instead." Vera explained.
"I see" Fearmaker answered. "Do you know if any of your other friends were teleported here also?"
"No, There was no sign of them." Vera answered.
"Well, why don't we talk about this over something to eat." Fearmaker suggested.
He called Mr.Glubbner over and ordered something for Sterling and Scartooth but Vera passed the offer. And so they sat down and talked about how Vera and Sterling might return home. Back to all they love and know. But what they didn't know, is that nothing but trouble lay in wait for them. Waiting for a time to strike.

Chapter 4

Back in Imagination isle havoc had taken over.
"It's all your fault, Susan!" Emily ranted. "If you hadn't pressed that button on the dumb machine of yours Vera might still be here!"
"It wasn't my fault! I made the machine flawlessly! For all I know you could have shocked the circuit with your Light magic!" Susan ranted. "Now who's to blame?"
"Do you seriously think that I'd teleport my best friend to her doom or even her death?!" Emily ranted.
"Well you tell me?!" Susan asked.
"Whoa guys!" The Creator remarked. "Take it easy! Vera would not be pleased if she knew you two we pointing the finger at each other! Now let's get to the point. I know you five are upset at the loss of your friend but I have a feeling that she's still alive."
"Yeah right, feelings aren't fact!" Susan mocked. "Plus didn't you just say that you had no idea where she was. You! the only person who know every single thing that happens in the entire word! That means one thing. She's dead, let's admit it folks. Even Tom's already is tears!"
"Hey Susan did you ever hear of this thing called Hope or has it to vanished from your dictionary!" Emily ranted.
"There you go! All miss grammar! It's easy to guess that your grandmother spends her days locked up in a dust filled book room!" Susan yelled.
"She does not! She's a librarian and I'm proud of her!" Emily retorted.
"Stop! Both of you!" The Creator snapped. "I'm fed up of your arguing! Now let me finish! I know the Vera isn't on this isle. But I also have a good felling that she isn't dead. What I personally think happened is that she might have been teleported to one of the nearby planets in the Imagiverse. My first guess would be Flowerland. I'll go and have a talk with Starpure and ask him if he's seen any strange activity recently. If not, well we'll cross that bridge once we get there. In the mean time, I'll focus on finding Vera while the rest of you enjoy regular life. If any further arguments break out I leave Aster in charge. I'll leave tomorrow."
Susan had her fist clenched but there was nothing she could do now. Emily was still quite cross with Susan but her anger subsided.
"Creator." Alice asked. "Do you think we'll ever see Vera and Sterling again?"
"I'm sure of it, Alice, and I'm also sure that she misses all of you terribly. Now get some rest, all of you." The Creator answered.
With that the group dismantled. Each to her own way. Each wanting to wake up and see that it was only a dream. But no one's wish would come true. They would only wake up to find that the nightmare had begun.

Sure! If you can give me a picture of him/her I'll take a crack at it!

"What happened this time?" Scartooth asked the dinosaur.

That's great! I like how you explained the extinction/fiction of the dragons was due to a war with the dinosaurs. However, I would spend some more time describing the characters. You know what they look like, but the reader doesn't. I want to know more about the characters.
If you wanted to smooth out the dialogue, try speaking it out loud. Does it sound natural? Does it sound like the character's voice?
Overall, it sounds like a very interesting story. Keep it up. I once wrote 60,000 words about a squirrel with a sword. Ridiculous, right? But I started it, so I finished it.
You can, too.
Something that will help you is to make a 'loadstar sentance'. This is a crazy long sentence of all the awesomeness that you feel your story has, no stopping for periods or fixing grammicalll errrors just let your fantasy gush out, you know what I'm talking bout, like you got all that cool stuff in your head and you just got to talk about how incredible it is gosh this is going to be epic I can't even wait this is stupendous!
Like that. Once you have your loadstar sentence, put it away until you are feeling down, and feel like giving up on your book. It will help.

I'm glad you like it! I don't plan to give it up, the matter is that I need a lot of information from my friend (since most of the characters used are actually his.) And I can only see him twice a week :(

Sure! If you can give me a picture of him/her I'll take a crack at it!

I'll try! Give me a moment to do that.
