Awesome. I'm going to look into getting MediBang... will it work on a laptop?

I'm usually more old school and just draw on PAPER. A few years ago I went to graphic design school, but quit 20 credits short of graduation. I did learn to use Photoshop and Illustrator... I'll see if I can dig up some old files. These days, the only program I can still remember how to use is InDesign -which doesn't have near as many tools/effects.

For now... here's a little design I made (on my computer!!) in the spirit of the season:

If anyone wants one, I can customize and email a pdf (no charge). I've been thinking for a while about opening my own Etsy store... but :idunno
It should do. You can go to the Medibang website and there should be a download link somewhere. :p

Hey, has anyone heard of Inktober?

It's a fun drawing challenge for the month of October, every year. I did it last year... an ink drawing every day following a prompt list, but I've just been too busy to commit to it this year.

Most people post their drawings on Instagram, but you can post here too. It's already day 6 --you guys should take a look at some examples -- it's really inspiring!

Here's the list for this year:

And the rules to the challenge are easy. For more information:

I have! :p

This year I seriously tried to get through the whole month; I got to the 5th day and started the 6th. But, drawing every day when you don't really like your art is really exhausting, and I've now given up. XD

Awww, don't give up yet! I know it is really difficult to draw something presentable every single day... I wasn't real proud of everything I drew either... and INK was not my favorite.

But it did force me to learn the medium, I experimented, bought new grayscale markers and made some cool stuff I never would have otherwise. Usually I started my drawings after everyone went to bed so I had some quiet time into the wee hours. Sometimes I didn't like the prompt word... but I persevered!! You could do it too!!

I'm somewhat of a perfectionist and really hard on myself, but really, you don't have to make a perfect drawing. I also remember looking at others' posts and stole ideas to get inspiration... and I was always a day (or3) behind.
