Onyx? Ebony? Those are more basic...Ok, so I have this one character. She’s an elderly bird. Black with some feathers that have turned white cuz she's old. She's a black canary... a very uncreative species I made up. Basically they're a bird species with human intelligence that lives in a very small range of a couple of forests in southern Wisconsin, where ornithologists committed the sin of calling it a canary because of their song and nothing else, literally that's the only thing that makes them similar to the Spanish birds. They look more like warblers. (in truth they're called this because of an inside joke me and my brother made up.) Anyways, some names I've used are Andromeada, Peregrin, Rogue, Maple, Aspen, and Pip. This particular bird is a little eccentric because her mate and children were murdered, so she creeps out fellow birds by keeping their feathers on the walls of her hut and talking to them, but she wasn’t always this way. So what are some good names for her.

Ouch.So I was able to keep my hoarse voice today up until this evening, I think it's finally giving out. I'll probably have to whisper tomorrow.

They probably shouldn’t be color specific cuz all of the “black canaries” are either black or black with a grey belly.Onyx? Ebony? Those are more basic...
Kite, Char, Dusk, Wisp, Zephyr, Tempest, Hollow,
or a constellation name perhaps?

Not really. The black canaries.. is that a reference?
