@Dances I've been writing for local markets for ten years, so I've gotten kind of used to it.

It is totally worth it and a good editor is worth her weight in gold. One learns to love a good editor and really, most of them *are* good. I just like to always give writers the benefit of the doubt when something they say doesn't add up. And I NEVER criticize for typoes, etc.--that is very often not the writer's fault, unless there are a lot of mistakes (in which case it's usually the writer AND the editor's fault). Anyway, I put a lot more weight on the *thoughts* behind the words than the words themselves. Thank you for being so excited on my behalf.

Ohhhh Mother Earth News and Grit are two magazines that I can't do without. I've been a subscriber of Mother Earth News since the early 80s and Grit for the last couple of years. I can't wait to see your article! How cool! Congrats!
