Annoying neighbor rant- They wanna KILL my dogs!! longish story....

Im just adding my 5 cents worth but could you attach chicken wire to the chainlink your neighbor set up that way your dogs cant get through?

To keep your dog from bolting:
1. Keep a sign on the door saying to be patient when waiting for you to answer, dog is in training.
2. Keep a leash hanging on every exterior doorknob. When you have to open the door, put the leash on the dog first.
3. Get a baby gate, and put it up as a barrier before exterior doors, so the dog can't bolt if possible.
4. By a dog airline kennel (can be bought on craigs list for a few dollars) and crate train the dog. Teach the dog to go into the crate on command, therefore when a lot of people are coming and going or it would be too hard to do the leash method in suggestion #1.
5. When you answer the door with the dog on leash, use treats and praise to make the dog sit quietly instead of jumping around and greeting the visiteor, etc. This will take patience, but is well worth the effort.
