Annoying Pop-Ups

I’ve been getting it a lot today too. Seems to happen a lot when I go to quite a post or open a watched thread or go to the next page on a thread.

Similar problem here for a couple or 3 days...... only on BYC and it’s making me bonkers I can’t get read or post without having a bloody pop up every few minutes

Our filtering systems are scanning every ad impression in real time and blocking bad players, so that this particular ad shouldn't appear again.

The trouble with these redirects is that often times the same bad player will attempt to sneak in using a second URL, once we have them blocked under the original URL. But even if that bad ad sneaks in again, our systems are able to quickly find that second URL and block it as well.

Please try leaving BYC and clearing your browser's cache and see if that helps.

We hate these ads too! They sneak through our filters, but we do what we can to seek-and-destroy them.

Whatever you have done most recently seems to be working as I haven’t had any issues since you posted that the other day however I did have one pop up today when I clicked on my inbox.

I cleared my cache before I posted here, still had trouble. I cleared it again and checked all my settings the next day and so far all is well. I don’t know why it didn’t work the first time

It might have taken our filters a little while to find and block the specific ads , so it's possible that the first time you clear your cache, the ad had been blocked yet. Then when it was blocked, and you cleared your cache, it worked
