Another Attempt at the Pickled Eggs!!!

I love it i am going to try making pickled eggs too I would be intrested in hearing any recipes for them

Those look awesome!!! I have been wanting to try to make some....I have a surplus of my eggs as we haven't been in an egg mood lately. I have just been afraid to even try! Haven't even gone as far as googling a recipe. Yo have inspired me to try them, however.

Pickled egg recipe we use in this house is:

12-24 eggs
1 clove garlic (chopped)
Half of a small onion (chopped)
Apple cider vinegar
1 can of beets with juice
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste

Hard boil the eggs and peel them. Add them in a large bowl with all the ingredients. Let them sit for a week or 2 and enjoy!

we cheat and just use the pickle juice after all the pickles are eaten,they are ok

Hey Squirrel, I am so surprised you haven't tried these already!!! Get busy girl!! You too MJ!! Thanks for the recipe Stevie! I left out the beets and didn't use quite so much garlic, not that I don't love it, I just had no idea how that would end up tasting!

Dang..if I'd known that salt trick I could have used up some of my own eggs!!!

No doubt that would make the infamous most replied to list!!!! Girls love their nails!!!! My son's girlfriend makes an awesome salary doing nothing but nails so hers are always clever too! Go Steelers! lol!

Oh yea... This is seriously one of the reasons I got chickens!

The beet's are a must! The dark purple eggs and the smell keeps my wife and all four kids far away from them! I get them all to myself ...

I plan to buy myslef the largest freaking Mason jar I can fit in my fridge to keep a running tally at all times.
