Rehome to the dirt, thats what get me,the poll show most people think this dog. Should not be destroy. The dogs life is not worth keeping at the risk of human life. no 2nd time with a dead dog.

These types of dogs do not recieve Rabies vaccine.
there is no proof that the vacine works for hybred wolf dogs. so there fore not given.

I'm with you, deerman. There's plenty of dogs in this world, too many, in fact, and one that does something like this doesn't deserve to take up room. I don't understand people anymore. It's just a dog. Don't get me wrong, I blame the owners too, but any dog with a history of violence is not man's best friend.

The dog needs to be put down. I completely understand that it was the owner and parent's negligence that allowed the dog to get access to the child, but regardless.

The article said that the animal has been turned over to animal control, they won't and can't release it. I know that the animal control around here has a strict no aggression rule, any dogs that show aggression will NOT be adopted out, they are euthanized. Plain and simple. There for the I firmly believe that the humane society will not release the animal to the public.

It would have been more responsible of the owner to go ahead and euthanize the animal themselves, but I'm sure they are worried sick about the baby and not thinking about a dog.

Those who voted for the dog are ignorant. People first.

Thats what we have to face. A public that dont want to destroy a dog that amost killed a baby. Sure will not see our side when a dog kills a chicken.

Legal we can , but get charged sure would not have a Jury.

SSS for me, sure the public will think we are monsters for killing a dog after a chicken.

More than likely, if the dog is alive and being held, they are doing it as quarantine. Usually, animal evidence is only in animal cruelty cases. This dog has sealed his fate.

You're gonna hate me for this, but I don't think the dog should be put down. It didn't seem aggressive; in the article it said the dog was "carrying the baby like a pup" and that he could have easily killed the baby if he had wanted to. It just sounds like they have a kind of stupid dog who didn't know it was killing the baby.
