I am suspecting this little one is a boy - he has a red wattle and very different feathers than the other Wayndotte chick. She is in the background. Her tail is much fluffier -his is stubby and he's blacker.

Rats. Well he will be given a chance to become a model citizen and if that doesn't happen, then freezer camp.

Any idea why he and the other Wyandotte hang together? I got 6 chicks - these 2, 2 Barred Rock and 2 Buff Orpingtons. They areall just over 4 weeks. These 2 are far less friendly, and cuddly - one of the Buffs is all over me all the time, the rocks are pretty happy to be held and they love perching on my arm. The Ws? off doing their own thing.
