8.5 week old partridge silkie chick. Guesses on boy or girl? We have an older partridge chick we are pretty sure is a boy so I'm really hoping this one is a girl! I know it's early but so far you guys have been right on the money with your guesses 😊

A couple updated pictures at about 10 or so weeks old. Starting to be worried it's another roo 😞

With Partridge Silkies cockerels will start to get red over the shoulders. I can’t really tell in your photos. Does this one have red coming in over the wings and shoulders?😊
Mentioned you have another Partridge that is definitely a male. Are you able to compare these two? Are they the same color partridge?
Close up comb photo would also help. You might want to push back the crest so the comb is clearly visible.
This Silkie is bearded and they won’t necessarily have any wattle formation as the gene for beards inhibits their development.🙂

Here are some pictures in bright sunlight of the chick. Compared to the older partridge this chick has a WAY smaller and different shaped comb
