Answer to the Delaware Dilemma

Beth, I was thinking the same thing. I wonder if the "brief description," is exactly what we have already read (an excerpt from the book maybe).

If I can find some good New Hampshires, I will start the project and send you the chicks! Then you can mate them, and if you send me their eggs I will hatch the next generation.

Interesting Walt..did not know that....silkied ducks now. isnt it amazing what people come up with....Its really just a term meaning like.

The more they breed to shred those feathers, the greater the chance of dying from exposure in cold weather. Tight feathers keep a duck comfy in most weather.

I have a lot of waterfowl, so I know a duck when I see one. My show van has "duckvan" for the lic plate.

That alone should certify me.
They don't look very silky like. Maybe the front view of the black duck. It is a work in progress.

OK .... you are certified! Actually, I had heard a rumor saying something like that.

My poor ol' minivan should have a license plate that says something, but there are too many letters for what it should really say.

It is like my work truck, but just enclosed.

Try carting things around in a Honda Civic, Kathy... I get the funniest looks when I request 200 pounds of layer pellets and pull up in a small sedan.

I have to make sure they put 2 bags in the backseat and the rest in the trunk or my car will be weighted too much on one side.

Investing in a "work truck" of sorts might not be such a bad idea.

ETA: Anybody heard from Cyn lately?
