So a few times my chickens had caught respiratory infections and I gave them tetracycline. One of my chickens now either has a respiratory infection because she has junk in her eye or she has an eye infection. I put her on the antibiotic for 2 weeks and it did nothing. What should I do get another antibiotic??? Any suggestions

Would be best to have a vet look at it and see what bacteria are there. You could also try Baytril, but it's banned for use in poultry, so look into that before you try it.

How can you be shore that the infection is caused by a bacteria? It could be a virus and then the antibiotics is useless! Giving antibiotics without need can harm your chicken in many ways.

Which is why I suggested a vet, but most people aren't going to do that. If it is a bacterial infection of the sinus/eye, something like Baytril will probably work work very quickly, as in one should see a difference in 24-48 hours. But as I said before, Baytril is banned for use in poultry, so one really would need to research that first.
