Antibiotics sourcing

Add probiotics to her water. Chickens typically have ave two watery poops and several regular poops. It’s how their gut works. But antibiotics also kill good bacteria. You can get the probiotics at any feet store Cal Ranch tractor supply.
I do this too, but AFTER the antibiotics, Corid, or whatever medicine is done.

I ferment grains which is loaded with probiotics, but I also have Hydro-Hen powder for mixing in their water when I skip making the ferment. There are tons of powders out there for their water. Greek yogurt is also very high.

Here are three online sources of where many of us get antibiotics or some other pet meds without a prescription:

Have you a need to learn how to remove the core and treat bumblefoot? We've got some excellent articles here if you need, I'll get them for you.

I'd still take advice from anyone here who will offer it. I see we're not ok with antibiotics without a DR. That's fine. I've never used them before, didn't really want to throw out eggs, but I also don't want my bird to die over something I could try to fix. I'm not going to debride her foot, there is no plug. I'm stumped and she's got heat, swelling, and can't use her leg at all. The vet is an hour each direction, I'm not going to put that stress on her.
