I have about two gaggles of geese at my home in clackamas Oregon. My main goal is to raise geese to eat basically. I'm giving up on looks because thats too hard. Currently I have one toulouse(unknown sex, it refuses to mate), 2 sebastopol(one boy, one girl), one buff(too young to sex) and 2 embdens(two girls), and about 14 half white chinese half embden hybrid geese.

My question is, how should I breed them to make the offspring the tastiest? any advice is appreciated
which breed do you guys find to be the most tastiest? softest meat? easiest to clean?
are toulouses any good?

Well if it is an American buff the APA recommends that you dont eat them becuase they are at risk to becomeing endagered.

Since most are only found in the American Continents, they havent spread much and the more production with them the more separated gene pools can be made for healthy breeding stock.
