any advice on lockdown?

As long as there are no pips (shine your light at every angle possible to see all around each egg, as well as possible) there is no harm to opening the incubator, quickly but carefully. Especially with a Brinsea, the humidity is not going to drop very drastically, and will re-stabilize quickly. Or you can wait. Either is fine. Its just up to you to do whatever feels most comfortable.

Ok I've done it!!! That was really scary trying to do it quick!! I've got a few pics.... It's moving!! I could hear a faint kind of tapping noise!!!

From the pictures, I don't see an internal pip yet. It appears that they are getting into position though. Its a tough call, because its a fine line between helping too soon, and waiting too long. Did you check them all?? And see movement in them all?

Since they are not overdue yet, I'd give a little more time before doing anything drastic.
