Thank you. I have been working on shadows and highlights recently. I think understanding different characters, tones, and grades of pencils really helped.

Using a HB forever wasn't going to get me anywhere.

It's hard to determine things like that over the internet.

Sometimes. I have been involved with the internet professionally since it was still DARPAnet, and I tend to keep a somewhat low profile. Lots of people don't, and you can figure them out pretty easily. Not saying it's hard to figure me out either, most of the photography stuff I post is watermarked and easy to trace, but still, I tend to fight to remain as anonymous as I can because I know better. Suffice it to say, P.T. barnum would have LOVED the internet were he still alive today. So many unsuspecting and gullible people to fleece.

Lol. I thought the same thing. I’m going to be honest, I default to woman in 20s or 30s when I don’t know much about someone online haha

It has taken me a long time to get horses anatomy right, and still I tend to fail. As for tips, I try to keep the bridge of the nose, and the faces flat. Horses don't have round faces. And I referenced the movie Spirit, stallion of the Cimmaron. Disney or Dreamworks styles are very good to follow.
