Probably took you years to be able to do it in 15 minutes though.

oh yeah. and back then when I rushed it looked awful. even just 2 years ago looking back, even at the very start of this thread, I can clearly see my improvement. I can do a lot better in 15 minutes now than I could then.

On another note, I felt compelled tonight to practice drawing mechas tonight...I thought this session would be painful, but actually it was really fun browsing robot character designs on pinterest to see how the heck robots are supposed to look. So many complicated bits and bobs, it almost makes me tired just looking at them, but it was SO fun to redesign my little androids and give them new looks!
(NOTE: I'm not ditching their old designs, you know, the ones with clothing. The robots themselves get refurbished several times in their lore/backstory)
