Any artists out there?

Hey, photography isn't ever an unfinished project. That is, unless you're planning on doing some fancy editing, or are like me and set up a big studio in your kitchen to spend the next two to three hours photographing chickens just to get a couple you're actually happy with, lol. Most of the time though, the best pictures come simply by hanging out with the flock or sitting somewhere in nature waiting for the right opportunity to come by and snap the shot.
I know how that goes oh my Lord XD

That is very true, snapping a shot isn't like sitting and finishing a drawing. I think I just need the right inspiration. I grew up in the country surrounded by trees and hills, but now I'm stuck in the suburbs of American-Steppe Wyoming.
This might be surprising, but you get the right buildings and even those can be good in photography. True, I don't take pictures of them myself, but I have come across plenty that I've wanted to stop and take a picture of. (It's usually the old, broken down buildings that I want to take pictures of.)

You can find things to photograph in the 'burbs too. Just gotta look for them. Even in your own driveway in the right conditions.

Oh yes, there are a lot of lovely buildings around here to get pictures of, and even the streets in our neighborhood are quite pretty at the right hour. Urban photography just isn't quite my jam unfortunately. I think I just painfully miss having nature everywhere.

Oh, I know, I love the small things! Lovely pictures. I think perhaps that it makes me a little sad, though, because it reminds me of having nature absolutely everywhere, so I feel discouraged and uninspired by it.

The steppelands of Wyoming aren't exactly barren. I'd love to shoot there. Landscape and astro are my photography jams. Both are there.

If you get out of town there are a lot of gorgeous areas, especially if you get near the smaller mountain ranges or into Curt Gowdy state park. We drove out one evening a few weeks ago, and it was wonderful to just sit in the silence surrounded by sage brush (ah, the smell!). Unfortunately, it's a good hour for us to get to places like that, and I get quite carsick. 😅 I feel a bit "land locked", as it were.
