just because they have pups ready now not spoken for doesnt make them bad breeders..MAYBE they where going to keep those,MAYBE a sale fell though,MAYBE they had homes lined up with deposits received for 8 pups and whelped 10..MAYBE people shouldnt be so suspicious of others until they know all the facts..just saying

Thanks for all the advice. I visited the people who have the younger bulldogs yesterday. I got to see both parents and another adult female bulldog (she's spayed) they own. This was her dogs second litter. The owners watched the c-section. They have photos of the grandparents of the puppies. They have been keeping a photo and weight diary of every puppy each week. The couple and their kids have been taking the puppies outside after they feed to try to get them started on house breaking. I did ask about health problems which I figured they would just say they are all healthy. They said the female is healthy and the male only has had cherry eye which they had the simple surgery to fix. They said the other female they have had a problem with extra skin around where she pees. The loose skin covered to much that it was causing infections but they had the skin removed and don't have anymore problems. I asked about cleaning the wrinkles and the woman told me that she takes a damp cloth and cleans them and drys the area but I won't have to worry much about that till the dog was older. They answered all of mine and my husband's questions. All their dogs looked healthy, happy, and friendly. So..... we pick her up on the 16th. The couple said they would email us a picture each week of her, give use the AKC papers upon pick up, and some other stuff but I forgot what it was. My husband was getting the information though while I was playing with the puppy. They said if we decide on a name to let them know and they will start calling her by that name. They also said we could come anytime to see her before she is ready to go that other people have already came a few times. They do have reunions with the last litter and wouldn't mind having reunions with this litter. They did say the female I picked was sold once by a lady that put a deposit down for her dad for a Birthday gift but called up 2 hours later crying and saying he didn't want one cause he didn't want her paying that much so they refunded her non-refundable deposit since they didn't want the puppy going some place that didn't really want it. I'm still going to do research on them and the woman said I can email or call her anytime about any questions even once I have the puppy. I plan to use the same food as them. They did give me warnings about the leather, bones, and other toys. So now I'm trying to come up with a name. She has a dark brown patch around one eye with dark brown on her back/tail with some black markings (think it is called brindle) but they are faint. I was joking around with my husband cause he never thought he would spend that much on a dog that we could call her Daddy's Little Fortune for a nickname. Then if she ran out the door I could say "There goes your Fortune out the door" which I thought would be funny. He said why don't you name her that but I don't think I'd really want that for her name. We did think about maybe calling her Diamond since diamonds do cost a lot and she was born in April which that is the birthstone. I would like some more ideas though to choose from. I'm trying to keep from using a name I already used on another animal or one that I'd like to name any kids that I end up having. The female names I want to try not to use are Honey, Sugar, Baby Girl, Cinammon Bun, Pretty, Penny, Charolette, Kela, Nugget, Minnie, Jackie, Libby, and Jet. I've either named a pet one of those or my in-laws have one named that around here. The kid names for girls were Isabell and Scarlett that I'd like to name any girls I have. So I'm open for anything else that might have a suggestion.

My mother has had two, her boy passed on an year ago and she just recently adopted another one. They are adorable, but from an outside perspective so much trouble, number ,I would not pat him, you just never knew when he was going to decide you passed his boundaries...he thought the tires on cars were appetizers, actually got run over once doing as much. He once had a allergic reaction to lobster could barely almod died. It goes on,..so in comes new little dahlin and she hates kids.. she thinks they are chew toys, my mother so has her hands ful, and medical issues, ughl. You know, come to think of it, I have a basset hound and I have found that they have weird behavior issues too....house training, yeah right, no matter how many times out she comes in and relieves herself inside. I think there is something with the dwarf breeds that make them a little off. Just my opinion though.

I plan on buying a lot of chew toys that are safe for her. I'm not to worried about any aggressive problems since they were all friendly around me. The mother didn't mind us holding her pups and they have kids around them often. I plan to make sure I socialize her with as many people as possible. I also don't plan to feed table scraps. Seen to many of my moms dogs get overweight till she finally stopped feeding table scraps. Don't want the chance of something making her sick. I'm going to stick with the diet they have her on and then once she gets out of puppy food slowly introduce the same kind her parents eat. If I do decide to breed her I'll ask the people I'm buying her from information about it besides looking online. Won't be for a couple years before I decide since I want to wait till she is at least 2 before breeding. She will be supervised whenever she is out of her crate to make sure she doesn't chew on something or start to potty in the house. I'm going to ask the couple I'm buying her from what types of supplies to get as far as the best brush, shampoo, toys, and other stuff I need. I seen a bunch of cute toys at the store last night but I know that some dogs can chew apart some of the stuffed animals or eat the threads on the rope toys.

My hubby wants one of these dogs soooooooooo badly...
They are adorable..
