Yes, I would think a nylabone could be left in the crate with her. She will need something to chew on to occupy her in her crate.
You can also pick up natural bones that have been cleaned and sterilized so they don't make a mess. There are also Tuff Toys, or something like that, made out of heavy canvas, that don't tear up like your average dog toy. I have pretty good luck with those.
