Yes, I would think a nylabone could be left in the crate with her. She will need something to chew on to occupy her in her crate.
You can also pick up natural bones that have been cleaned and sterilized so they don't make a mess. There are also Tuff Toys, or something like that, made out of heavy canvas, that don't tear up like your average dog toy. I have pretty good luck with those.

I'll have to check out those toys. The owners said the father loves to play with a soccer ball but he tears them up fast so they got a basketball that he hasn't tore up yet. Maybe I'll find her a ball that she can push around. I did see a video of someone with those giant plastic easter eggs that their dog loved chasing around. Are the fans that hook on crates worth buying? I seen one listed in a catalog that my MIL gets. I wasn't sure if they put out enough air to make it even worth while to buy one. In the house I can just plug in a fan but I was thinking of trips in the car. My husband plans to start playing tennis and the court is beside a small playground. I was thinking of taking her and walk her around some while he plays. I know to get a dog water bottle that they can drink out of. Would a spray bottle be good to have on hand to mist the dog when she starts to get hot? Is there any other items that I can bring to help keep her cool?
