Any Fishing Enthusiasts here ?

Largemouth bass here bite on dang near anything you throw at them.
Most people here don't fish them like they do in the south. We mostly like fishing for walleye.
We have a lot of Smallmouths here.
They tend to stay a little deeper than largemouth do.

thanks Phil, up here (sask) we only have one lake with large mouth bass, and then a few with rock bass, but where i live it seems every one wants perch,pike and walleye.

but just got a bait caster rod and reel for pike,bass and walleye

same here.... Walleye pretty much rules.... Some of my friends throw Pike on the bank... I like small pike but I throw the bigger ones back.
Caught a 20 plus pound Pike a few years ago. Let it go.
But Bass isn't that pupular around here. They are fun to catch though.... But i won't eat them when there are so many better fish for the plate

However I really like Rock Bass..... They are alot like a bluegill taste wise.

well fishing season opened up here is sask, was hoping to get out this weekend but things got busy so hoping next weekend to get out and do some walleye and pike fishing.

Doing some preseason maintenance. Going out on the big lake next week.... Supposed to go smelt dipping this week.

it's not mine.... I'm just getting it ready to go out.
I get a free fishing charter trip out of it.
I just have a 17 foot deep V

yeah the Small Block Chevy in this 24 foot boat.... Didn't sip fuel y that's for sure. But it's nice when your​ way out on the Big lake chasing Salmon. I could never take my boat out there.
