Love Walleye..... They are about as good as it gets.
And ice fishing is by far my favorite thing in the whole world to do.

am not a big wall eye person my self its not bad smoked or deep-fried am more of a trout kinda guy.

See that's how i feel about trout.... Not my favorite to eat.... A little brook trout is good.... But don't like Rainbows, Browns or Lake Trout. Unless they are smoked.
Grilled Salmon is okay but preferred to have them smoked. It's just a culture thing though.... My wife will eat perch or walleye all day long but can't stand trout.

My partner and i kayak fish, this was me last weekend, fast incoming tide, so no little ones, maybe got about 5 horse sized bream between us on cooked prawns

I'm in the DFW area of Texas and I love to fish. I live minutes away from a lake and not too many more minutes from several more.

My largest largemouth bass was 8lbs. 12 oz. Largest flathead catfish 50 lbs. Largest fish on a rod and reel was 28lb. Buffalo. Largest blue was about 17lbs. and largest channel cat was about 8lbs.

My largest crappie was 1 7/8lb. but I've litterally thousands and thousands and I've caught several hundred over 1 1/2 lb....but still haven't got a 2 pounder despite my best efforts.

I'll see if I can post some pics.

went out ice fishing yesterday, caught 4 jumbo perch (all over a pound) and my first ever winter walleye, one of my best days out ice fishing for perch.
