I have all the same breeds I raised from Dayold chicks rest asured none of them are Roos but with that being said the one that makes the most noice will be the fiestest. our Light bramas (we have 1 roo and 3 hens) All have big thick legs but the roo got fat fast and now is way bigger then the hens, The PBR (barred rocks) if they are male they tend to be white on black and what you have here is black on white I hope this helps.

I wouldn't go re-homing anyone just yet. I agree with whoever it was earlier that said they are all pullets.

Wow! Honey looks identical to my Easter Egger pullet Calypso! Same exact coloring. I got my chicks from My Pet Chicken.

I too have a Cuckoo Marans that looks just like Freckels and was afraid I had a roo. But I consulted with some Marans experts who say she's a hen.

Marans can be a challenge to sex because their comb does develop more quickly than other breeds which leads people to think they are roos.

But with in 3-4 weeks the comb will start to turn red if he's a roo and yours is still pink like my Poppy's comb. Which is a good sign she's a girl.

Also, the females have much darker feathers. And yours looks like the same dark colorization as mine. Males are significantly lighter.

So I'm going to say you have a hen.

freckles is a roo-wether barred rock(yellow legs) or cuckoo marans(white legs)-he has a yellow beak and white legs?he is too light in color to be a girl.
i would hold on to shadow a little longer.you said he/she was shy-boys are usually very friendly but not always.
