I think freckles is a boy. That is really lightly colored this early to be a girl.

The CM's are the sweetest things. My boy was the best roo I had ever, and will ever own in my life most likely. He just got so darn big. And he was the best crow-er. I miss him, a lot.

Do the CMs crow really loudly? I really shouldn't let my mind wander, but we aren't allowed to have roos in our city, and as a beginning chicken mama I really shouldn't be thinking AT ALL about the possibility of keeping a roo, especially since that would mean cross-breed chicks (or starting any chicks), noise, etc... but Freckles is one of my favorites... so early I know... I need to be patient and see what happens. Such a hard thing to do, but before I know it I will be saying time has flown by. I just would hate to see "it" go.
