Dad is supposedly a Maran. Mom is an EE. They hatched from light green eggs. Any guesses on gender? They are feathering completely different. Pics of mom, dad, eggs and chicks.

Probably a bit early, but second one looks like a cockerel (wattles already forming) and first one looks like a pullet. Give it 2-3 more weeks to be certain.

Well the order your photos were posted. Yes the one with the wattles, looks to be a boy, the other one looks female.

We have suspicions that cookie is a boy. Oreo is way more feathered then cookie which I know can be a determining factor.
I'll keep searching for my post and update photos in a week or 2.

updated photos. They are 5 weeks old now.
the last 2 pictures, cookie is standing on the edge of the door and in front in the last picture.
They hatched the same day. Same parentage.
