Any guesses on these roosters?

Sounds like a breeding plan to me! I love barnyard mutts, and messing with blue and green egg genes always puts a nice surprise when the pullets start laying.

Here is my pretty little blue egg layer. What a surprise ; I thought she was a Dominique. Check out her odd comb and body shape.

This little mutt is three years old but she lays a huge brown egg. I love her erect tail and body shape.

This girl is so pretty. I would love one like her that lays green eggs.

These RIR mutts started laying at four months old! At the onset of winter too.

The above girls will be bred with the black/ blue rooster in hopes of some pretty girls that will be prolific layers. Fingers crossed.

I love barred hens that lay colored eggs! I have two black barred ladies I held over for breeding--



And plan to put them under my splash Ameraucana cockerel this spring for blue sex links. I may also put one under my cute little black silkie rooster, see if I can get a green egg layer that's part silkie
