Well, my youngest did name the two NH Reds The Weasley Twins. She herself is called Bella, she does tricks and she IS rather strange . . .

I shall alert her to this page and though she has barely entered the double digits she will pwn you all at trivia, devotion and all things Potted.

I agree. Dumbledore #1 was way better. The replacement wears his emotions on his sleeve and isn't reserved or dignified at all. Definitely not a good casting choice.

I'm with you. For movies they aren't too bad. I was really upset at how they changed the storyline in Goblet of Fire, leaving out the whole Winky/Barty/Bertha part. I just recently found out there is a character in the new movie that isn't even in the books... now they are adding people?? I understand they can't possibly fit the entire book into a 2 or 3 hour movie, but I really hate it when they change things completely rather than just leaving stuff out.

A very minor character from my understanding, but still not one from the books. Here is the info I found:

Laurasia is a Hogwarts' student in the fictional J.K. Rowling series "Harry Potter".

The character never appears in the books and was exclusively created by David Yates, Steven Kloves and the producers for the sixth installment of the series, "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince".

It's portrayed by River George.

Edited to say: I have no idea what purpose this character will serve in the storyline.

oh my!! new characters?! Stick to the books!! Nothing else is needed in the movies!

Huge fans here!! My youngest is just starting book 4- the other 3 kids & DH & I have read them many times. Most of our chickens are named after HP characters.

I agree that the old Dumbledore actor is sadly missed. The new one seems distant and angry somehow.

The last book was excellent, as were all the others. But it nearly killed me- I cried & cried.

Has anyone read Beadle the Bard yet?

I, sadly, have not yet read Beadle. We are really strapped on money right now and as much as I would like to go buy it, I just can't justify the money at the moment. Maybe next month.
