Any Home Bakers Here?

It was a great day Bob (see, I remembered)! Some of the nicest people I've never met are here on BYC :D
It may or may not sound crazy, but my sphere of friends has grown in quantum numbers since getting active in byc. When we moved from VA to TN, we knew four or five folk. Today, we probably have 3-4 friends locally. Still keep in touch with folks back in VA, but they think this whole country thing was crazy. And they don't understand and can't talk chickens, turkeys, or ducks. What's up with that?

These sound so good! I wonder if there would be any way to convert this recipe to use apple butter instead of sauce? I have several jars of apple butter that I canned a few years back that I would like to use up. It's still good, but don't want to push my luck. I suppose I would need to cut back on the sugar and spices, since the apple butter has lots of those already! (the coffee, nuts and raisins paired with the applesauce sounds divine)

I bet that would be a great one with apple butter in it cut the sugar back as well as nutmeg and cloves

Yay, 10k posts!

It took over 3 years, but still going strong!

Guess some people just don't know what they're missing  But I guess that sort of evens things out...we think they're crazy for not getting it and they think we're crazy for doing it.

I've been fortunate enough to actually meet 3 BYC people in person, that was fun!
