That is great!
Fun to look at (and dang it, it got me to sign up for Pinterest...something I've managed to avoid for a long time).

Aria, this is how to use the cookie stamp:
1. Season stamp with cooking oil (not butter) each time before use.
2. Warm stamp in oven while it is preheating: keep stamp warm to the touch while in use by placing them near oven vent on stove.
3. You mix up the cookie dough, form it into 1" balls and press the warm cookie stamp into the dough ball.
4. When done using it, clean the stamp with hot water and soft brush. Let dry & store.
5. Flours with more gluten (such as bread flour) will hold the stamp design better.
6. Avoid cookie recipes that contain baking powder, baking soda or eggs as the design will be less distinct if the cookie rises.
Not too hard (I just had trouble holding on to the stamp because the little knobby handle was so short and the stamp was hot).

We ate all the Cheese Straws, so made another batch today..no chicken feet, just cooke press wreaths
I had Christmas cookie stamps I never used and gave them away .... but honestly never heard of any that needed warming until your post... did a google search today and still find those that don't need warming...but found it interesting you can use regular type stamps on cookie icing
I joined a few years ago, find it useful.
DW has an account... If something interests me I have her look it up. Don't want one, nor need one.
