Any Home Bakers Here?

I only have one or two more kinds of goodies to make, then on to planning Christmas dinner (I know, I'm way behind in that dept.). Hubs always wants turkey for both T-day and Christmas, while I prefer something different on Christmas, like maybe a succulent roast or something. What do you guys like to eat for Christmas dinner?
I have more to make also but waiting until Saturday...unless I get ambitious tomorrow afternoon. I am making meatballs and ham and cheesy hash browns. It’ll just be us and my 2 nephews and maybe my best friend and her family as they are not doing their big family Christmas until later.
I know. DH is already talking about the upcoming season and my feet are already anticipating the ache

No way, you do beautiful cookies! I wish I could decorate half as good as you DMC. My decorated cookies always look like a 3rd grade art project, lol.

We don't really have a set Christmas dinner menu like we do for Thanksgiving. Mostly it's whatever we feel like noshing on without a lot of bother.
Thanks Debby! I like to do them. I made 2 double batches the other day and I put them in the freezer. That will be a lot to frost...some will just get frosting, no decorating.
I was once again inspired by this thread! This time to get a clay baker. I used the gift card that work gives me each year to buy

I baked a chicken in it yesterday. The green in the picture is parsley. It was moist and tender. The baker pushed the flavor from the parsley and onions into the meat very well too

That looks delicious!
My coconut shortbread cookies are finished and so are half of the mocha pinwheels. Still have the gingerbread men dough in the fridge but I have to take Opie (one of my cats) to the vet for an annual check up this afternoon...gingerbread might have to wait until tomorrow.

@rjohns39 I found a new recipe where they use oatmeal cookies and add a filling between 2 of them to end up with something like the Lil Debbie oatmeal pies. If I have time, I'm going to try that recipe (oatmeal pies are so good).
I just saw that recipe on Pinterest. My oldest loves them.
My old bones gave up... Two more recipes to do for tomorrow along with some truffles and maybe some fudge. Also thinking some peanut butter balls.

Mine aren't near as pretty as yours, but they're mighty tasty.

Yummy!

Trying out @Auroradream26 's Sugar Cookie Recipe. Very hard not o just eat all the dough! It is very good!

I froze a dozen of each kind of Christmas cookie I have made so far! Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter Blossoms, and Pumpkin-Oat Chocolate Chip!

Mint Chocolate cookie are next! Most of my cookie recipes come from this book, you should get it if you like cookies!

How did the sugar cookies turn out? I agree it's hard not to eat all the dough lol. We usualy add an extra coop or two of flour and it rolls out so nicely :)

I finally have a day tomorrow with no crazy plans and nothing really going on with the kids so I'll be making peanut butter cookies and chocolate chip.

Think my baking is done for the week made the fudge after cleaning both coops need to look in on a pair of cockerels that are locked in the cockerel coop they are too young to let out or be cat fodder but forgot to look in until now it is dark safer they will be roosting
