Any Home Bakers Here?

Gotta share one of my new favorite funnies!

Christmas cookie 2.jpg

Thanks. Now that I have the file on my computer....can I change it to
jpg? Since Penny already posted it...I will look forward to doing jpg
next time. Thanks again. I am learning more on how to bake and
use this computer. Ron what I post are photos from the camera.
How do I convert to jpg? That probably has been my problem posting. EEK. Regards, Aria

The photos from the camera should be jpegs. Sometimes the program used to resize the image saves it in a different file format by default. If you have a save as option use it. Some programs make you export as a jpg.

Trying to finish baking the gingerbread cookies today. I seem to have hit a brick wall with initiative. Just ready to be done!
That's kinda how I feel now, too. Just finished frosting the sugar cookies and tried a new recipe for minty cookies (can't remember the name off-hand, but they are really good). I'm done baking goodies for now until I actually make Christmas desserts. Tomorrow my son and I are planning to try making French onion soup (at his request). I've never made it before, but willing to try. He's off from college for a few weeks, so he's going to help. I'll have to bake some bread so we have some to put on top of the soup.

I made some peanut butter cookies today but ran out of energy before I managed to get to the chocolate chip. I'll have to do them tomorrow, and maybe some more peanut butter (with Hershey's Special dark kisses on top!)

I got the very last of the Christmas presents wrapped this morning and the two pillows finished to go with the quilt my mom and I made for my dad for Christmas. I think we're finally done!

@Auroradream26 we like the peanut butter cookies too, but I put mini peanut butter cups on top. Mmm, p-nut butter & chocolate on top of p-nut butter :drool

I finally got most the gingerbread cookies done (ugh, my decorating leaves a lot to be desired :hmm), the mocha pinwheels and the coconut shortbread. I planned on making 2-layer fudge and pumpkin bread (mom's favorite) but we might have a change in plans...the weather is supposed to turn nasty so might not be able to get to my brother's house after all. Hate to make more stuff just to have it sit around here. We'll know more by tomorrow :(

Oooo! I thought about doing that! I stared at the bag of them for like 5 minutes trying to decide if I should go with them or the special dark. We all have a soft spot for dark chocolate so they narrowly won lol

I'm a fan of dark chocolate myself but DH is a dedicated PB fan...either way you make them, they'll be delicious!
