Any Home Bakers Here?

This is from before we stitched it together. I think we rearranged the rows a little too. It has a blue/black plaid flannel backing and thin, polyester batting inside. I'll take a picture of the pillows here in a little bit since I have them here (quilt is at my mom's house). I'm making cookies at the moment lol

very well done love the work

I attempted that girls sugar cookie decorating pattern. My cookie cutter was smaller than her's and my royal icing was to thin, so I had to make a few adjustments.

My attempted chicken and turkey one. :sick

Oh, wow - that is not just your average quilt! It really looks great. I'm sure your dad will love it! (I know my son would!)

Those are fantastic! I couldn't even come close to doing such nice decorations. They will look great on a Christmas cookie tray. Good work!

They look a lot better than what I would do.... and this is a 1st try, they will likely get better if you practice.

@Auroradream26 we like the peanut butter cookies too, but I put mini peanut butter cups on top. Mmm, p-nut butter & chocolate on top of p-nut butter :drool

I finally got most the gingerbread cookies done (ugh, my decorating leaves a lot to be desired :hmm), the mocha pinwheels and the coconut shortbread. I planned on making 2-layer fudge and pumpkin bread (mom's favorite) but we might have a change in plans...the weather is supposed to turn nasty so might not be able to get to my brother's house after all. Hate to make more stuff just to have it sit around here. We'll know more by tomorrow :(
In my imagination, your house smells very good

How nice of a camera is this? Point and shoot or Professional grade? If professional grade, any chance you've got it set to shoot in RAW? That would mess with just about any website.
That could be! This site has fairly strict limits now. I think it is a bit of ptsd from moving from the old site

Very cool!

Your dad is going to love his quilt! I take it he was just a teeny, tiny bit into bikes? :D

Were really hoping he will :) While I was growing up, his favorite past time was bicycling. He did it so the time and participated in quite a few rides. Note that he's older and his balance issues have gotten worse, he's switched to motorcycles (3 wheeled thank God).

I think your cookies look wonderful! Good job :thumbsup

X2!

very well done love the work

Thank you! It was a huge experiment since neither of us had any clue what we were doing lol.

I'm going to take a picture of the pillows here in a minute.
