Computer AGAIN. Was posting a recipe and it changed the screen.
Swedish Apple Pie
5 apples peeled, cored and sliced
1 teaspoon cinnamon 3/4 to 1 cup of sugar
12 or 8 tablespoons of butter
1 cup AP Flour
1 large egg
pinch of salt
1. oven rack in middle position 350 degree oven
2. melt butter in bowl, remove from micro, add and wisk 1 cup of sugar,flour and egg
3. Pour mixture over apples in a 9 or 10 inch pie plate and bake
until apples are tender and crust is golden brown and crisp
45 minutes to 1 hour.

I can adjust the butter I can adjust the sugar and the pie
is always delicious. Quick, Easy and Tasty. Aria (I use 3/4 cup of sugar and 8 tlbs butter. I sprinkle the cinnamon and 2 teaspoons over the apples.

Interesting, I've never heard of Swedish Apple Pie. Looks like the egg is the difference from the apple pies I've made.

Ooooo that sounds really good. I think I'm going to have to go pick up some apples.
 
Anytime I have apples...I think of apple pie and then decide..make roll crust etc. My Swedish Apple Pie is so SIMPLE. Just get the apples ready, and pour other ingredients on top. Saves me loads of time.
AND the pie is ...I think...better for us, less butter, and less sugar.
AND no bottom crust. And that saves calories for a dolop of ice cream or whipped cream. Aria

made hamburgers from hamburger meat and maple jimmy dean sausage pretty good I did a recipe for 3 loaves of bred from Ron only cut them in like 10 pieces not 3 loaves
perfect for bred bowls or hamburger buns
 
Penny, I have a Pumpkin Pie Recipe with NO TOP NO BOTTOM crust.
Pumpkin Custard Pie
1 cup evaporated skim milk
2 cups pumpkin puree 2 tablespoons Brown Sugar
2 large eggs, lightly beaten and 2 tablespoons water
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Spray Pam into large pie plate
Mix all ingredients in bowl until well blended
Bake 350 degree oven until done 25-30 minutes
This one I make in the Fall. Wonder if it is like your Moms? Aria

Ooo. I've got pureed pumpkin out in the shed. I just might have to try this.
