Granny smith apples are great for baking.It was good! DH really liked it too. It reminded me of a quick bread (more bread than cake). I used Granny Smith apples and they baked up well. Very moist and just the bit of glaze added to it very nicely.

I'm really not done tweaking the formula since I'm seeking to get them to rise a little more. Although they are not too thick and really delicious.
