Any Home Bakers Here?

I promised a friend at work that I would bake brownies and visit our new building Wednesday so I took a pound of butter out of the freezer today. I'm going to make two batches and vac seal/freeze some for later.
Good Plan!

IM, aren't you the one that got a bag of Wheat Montana flour? If I remembered correctly (always iffy, lol), how do you like it?
 
Here is the recipe for Lasagna pasta I used when I first used my pasta machine. Scanned from my book.

Cold water? My recipe has 110 degree water
Homemade Pasta Recipe
Ingredients:

  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose unbleached flour, sifted (plus extra flour for preparing)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 / 2 cup water 110 degrees
Directions:


Turn to speed 2 and knead for 2 minutes. Remove the dough and knead by hand for 2 minutes. Let it rest for 20 to 30 minutes.
When boiling your pasta, it only needs 3 to 7 minutes to boil.

I had to use much more water like a cup and a half here

I only have a little KA left so maybe I'll get to try it in the brownies tomorrow :fl.I'm anxious to try it out

I hope you like it. At Christmas time I gave my brother a 10-pound bag of it to try and now he's switched from KA to the Wheat Montana.

Experiment yesterday: Cheesecake tarts with a paleo flour crust. Need to make some improvements on the crust.
