Any Home Bakers Here?

I promised a friend at work that I would bake brownies and visit our new building Wednesday so I took a pound of butter out of the freezer today. I'm going to make two batches and vac seal/freeze some for later.
Last night's supper..

Was a long late day and didn't get inside until 10pm. Margaritas and brownies.
My "not too busy non normal life" had an 18 hour day.
Got the roofs repaired from the storm on Sunday! WOOT! And didn't fall off the 12 ft ladder this time(that's another story). Sold a score of my extra Roos! woot! Best of all, safely got the boars in place with 3 breeding Sows.
smiley_emoticons_paris-brille-sekt.gif Margarita Monday was appropriate. Brownies were my reward!

Very nice!

Like cheese cake for breakfast and Desert for dinner too!

The look very tasty!

Hasn't the paleo diet been debunked recently?

I sell gluten free and paleo treats at a local farmers market, (but not anything made with cream cheese) so going with the trend. Paleo flours are just as starchy, and maybe more so, than wheat flours.

I don't eat wheat flours anymore, or even paleo flours, except for some coconut flour.

I have to eat a very restricted diet, more restricted than paleo, because of things that happen from living in a natural world.

So, I don't know about certain diets being debunked, since they can help people in the short term.

I would love a brownie supper! Well maybe not, maybe just 2, or 3, or 4 brownies.

Food allergies are tough...everyone has to figure out what works best for them.

Do you sell a lot of things at the market JanetMarie?

We used to take produce to a local farmer's market when we lived in north FL...that was a tough one. Some Saturday's it was busy with lots of vendors and customers and other Saturday's it was dead.

Sorry, I meant no offense.

Generally speaking humans should eat a wide variety of foods. Restricting a food group is harmful for healthy people. For the 3% of people diagnosed as children with celiac disease gluten free is essential to life!

The problem is fad diets that do more harm than good and is really a scam on people--similar to the snake oil salesmen of olden days. They are the ones promoting un healthy diets and supplements as predators to take people money.

Dr. Oz was a mild version
